The Journal of Physical Chemistry & Biophysics provides pace for diverse areas of physics in relation to Organic and inorganic chemistry, Mathematics, to biological phenomena, earth’s atmosphere. The scope the journal is not limited to, but covers role of physics in every aspect.

Physical chemistry is the study of how matter behaves on a molecular and atomic level and how chemical reactions occur. Based on their analyses, physical chemists may develop new theories, such as how complex structures are formed.

Biophysics is an interdisciplinary science that applies approaches and methods traditionally used in physics to study biological phenomena. Biophysics covers all scales of biological organization, from molecular to organismic and populations. Computational and theoretical biophysics continue to have very strong efforts in molecular modeling, which have expanded into areas such as comparative modeling, cheminformatics, and protein design, and we are building new strengths in computational systems biology and multi-scale modeling.
